Venue Rentals & Events

There are various venues available for private events throughout the resort.

For all venues, only owners, their guests and anyone with a confirmed reservation may access the resort for the purpose of attending a private event.

 

Rafters Event Centre

Rafters is available for booking, by request/appointment only, for owners and those who have a vacation reservation with the resort (either Sherkston direct, or private).

Only owners, their guests and anyone with a registered reservation may access the resort for the purpose of attending a private event at Rafters.

Rental Fees

Sherkston Owners 
Venue Rental: Complimentary
Cleaning Fee: $150

Vacation Guests: $300

 

Beach Events

Beach events are permitted at Wyldewood Beach or Quarry Beach, by request/appointment only, for owners and those who have a vacation reservation with the resort (either Sherkston direct, or private). 

Exact location on the beach is subject to approval.

At this time, all equipment and catering must be arranged/provided by the event host. 

 

Wyldewood Clubhouse

The Wyldewood Clubouse is available for booking by Wyldewood Beach Club owners. 

Only owners, their guests and anyone with a registered reservation may access the resort for the purpose of attending a private event.

The Landing (Formerly Oasis) & The Meadows Bar & Grill (Quarry Meadows Clubhouse)

These venues are owner exclusive lounges available to the entire resort, therefore they are not available for booking or private functions.

 

Rules & Regulations - All Venues

  • If alcohol is to be served, you must obtain a special occasions permit from the AGCO and provide to Sherkston no later than 7 days prior to your event date.
  • Alcohol is not permitted on any beach or outside of the licenced area of any venue.
  • Cancellations: 48 hours notice required for a full refund.
  • Quiet time starts at 11pm. Music must be turned down so that it cannot be heard outside of the venue area and must be completely turned off by midnight. Any violations will result in fines charged on account and eviction from the facility.
  • Venue area must be left as it was found, with all garbage bagged and placed in the receptacles provided. Failure to do so will result in a $250 fee.
  • Any venue appliances are not to be used unless prior arrangements have been made. This includes ovens, microwave, coffee makers, etc.
  • All events must end at 12:00am with guests vacated by 12:30am.
  • If outside guests are attending the event, the Welcome Centre must be notified no less than 24 hours in advance to arrange proper access to the resort. (Applies to owners only)
  • You must notify the security team once your event has finished.
