Waste Collection
Throughout the resort you will find several waste/recycling depots. A full map with locations can be found here.
Within each depot there are a number of green metal bins for the disposal of household waste along with a number of recycling bins.
- Grey - Paper/Cardboard Only*
- Blue - Plastic/Aluminum Containers Only
Recycling bins are collected once per week by the Niagara Region.
If a bin includes household waste or material other than paper/cardboard or plastic/aluminum containers they will not be collected.
To ensure that this does not happen we ask that “when in doubt throw it out” with your household waste.
*For large cardboard pieces that do not fit in the grey bins within the depots, there are two green metal bins labelled CARDBOARD ONLY, one on Elcan Highway and the other next to the soccer field.
Large Item Pickup
Curbside pickup is provided for large items, such as furniture and appliances. Pickup is available Mondays and can be arranged by calling the Welcome Centre or by submitting a work order online before 5 pm on Sunday.
Please do not leave large items out over the weekend or on holidays.

Construction & Renovation Materials
ALL construction or renovation materials (shingles, flooring, deck boards etc) must be removed from the resort by you or your contractor. Locations and hours of local landfills can be found here.
Failure to comply with this policy is subject to a fine of $200.
Reminders
- Bringing garbage from outside the resort is strictly prohibited.
- Metal waste, including propane tanks, can be left on the outside of any depot, and will be picked up by our team.
- The main garbage depot located next to the soccer field has an area for the disposal of compostable materials. Eg. Leaves and branches. Please do not use this area for food waste.
